I would give it a week, if no one claims it by Friday.... Freebie!!!!! Hey, I read all the other goodie goodie answers on here. If it's a really nice toy, it's insured so don't stress!!! But I would still give UPS a little time, to see if they figure out where the mistake was made! Good luck!!!!

Somebody signed for the package, so that someone is going to get in real trouble if they do not hand it back... Opening someone else's mail is a federal offense. You need to look at the address and name BEFORE opening ANY letters or packages... You are better off sealing up that package and calling UPS so they can come and pick it up... Do The Right Thing; don't steal.

It depends on whether or not they realize their mistake or not.. sometimes UPS will just call it a "short package" which means they lost it - Otherwise, they will make the driver come back to pick up the package from the address they delivered it to - My suggestion.. hang on to it - usually any claims have to be made within 2 weeks of delivery .. or if you want to be an honest, nice guy .. contact the company that it was ordered from and let them know whats up - sometimes they will reward you by letting you keep it - SO, its kind of a hard dicision to make .. but good luck!

Opening mail and/or keeping the contents is actually a federal offense with items shipped through the USPS. Private delivery companies like UPS or FedEx though, I'm not sure. It could be viewed as theft I suppose but I would just not chance it. On the other hand, it could just be viewed as "lost" by UPS and replaced by them and resent to the original customer. My advice? Call up UPS and tell them what happened.

each thing everybody else suggested yet stef. do no longer use UPS! i'm particular united statesis meant to under no circumstances go away a equipment even as a persons no longer living house, yet I had an extreme priced vast celeb Wars lego Christmas present day left on my patio once - and a sticky label on my door putting forward that a equipment were left on the patio. It replaced right into a miracle that it replaced into nonetheless there when I were given living house from artwork! After asking round, i got here across out that they attempt this lots! as well, %. up centers in my section close at 6pm weekdays (or previously!) and are not open weekends. i'm no longer about to waste my tiny volume of holiday time to %. up a equipment. united statesis a nasty selection for operating people. i visit under no circumstances use united statesagain, nor purchase from any organisation that makes use of them. programs "disappear" from our complicated each of the time from the hot tenants who don't be conscious of more advantageous powerful. i purchased a PO field from the post place of work and all of my programs are presented there. And the position i'm from, the post place of work doesn't furnish programs to living house complexes, they placed a touch slip on your mailbox for you to come back get it. So for now, document a declare with the delivery provider and the organisation to procure from. avoid united statesand evaluate getting a PO field in case your community post place of work leaves programs round.

Take note of the tracking number on the box. Go to ups tracking and see who signed for it. That will be what the shipper and the customer will see when they look.

Don't let them come looking, do the right thing and call them to say they dropped it off to the wrong address, someone is wondering were their stuff is. It was a mistake you didn't win anything.

Ask your self, if you order this ( something you wanted ) and you didn't get it and somebody else did ,you paid for that person to have it... Have a heart I'm sure it belongs to one of those businesses around close to your job. Try to find where and if you have no success in 2 to 3 weeks then I would say it's yours. ( remember UPS has tracking )

Probably tomorrow morning. And did you sign for it? They have digital records of that. The cops will get involved if you don't return the contents to UPS.

they might be on their way back to you now.
do the right thing and call them up and tell them they made a mistake. you wouldn't want the same thing to happen to your own package right.
also, they have a very good system of tracking their packages and they will know where they dropped it off.
