Yes I would. If you found 20 dollars and there was no one around or you saw no one looking for it that is a different story but if you saw someone drop 20 dollars it should be returned otherwise it is the same as stealing.

Yes, and I have done it before. Actually found a bunch of money behind the bank under a truck - gave it to the driver of the truck, come to find out he didnt drop it but he found out who did and it was ALL safely returned. (The baker sent his kid to the bank to get change and he lost it!!) So after going through 2 sets of hands it was still returned. Also, saw someone drop a $20 at the pharmacy and returned it. I sold my paddleboat to an older couple for their grandkids and she handed me an envelop with the money. I was counting it as they left and chased them down the street as she had overpaid me $50.

I like to think I'm a good person, at least when it comes to money. I would definately give it back. Who knows what that person needs $20 for? Maybe to buy diapers for the baby or go pick up an important perscription?

Yes I would. I used to work in a mall and people would often walk away before getting their change. (strange but true) I took many a run up the mall escalator to give them back their change. There was always a hint of shock in their eyes when they realized what happened too.

If I saw the person drop it, then yes. But if I wasn't sure who dropped it, or had to go running after them, then no.

Yes, I would. But that's my nature. Why would I do it? One, 'cause it's the right thing to do. Two, 'cause if it happened to me, I would want someone to return it to me. I believe that what goes around comes around.
