Some of you are saying we can control our feelings... but you are wrong. We can control how we act upon those feelings, but your heart and brain wants what it wants. We have the ability, however, to control our actions. That is the great thing about being human.

My husband and I were both married (to other people) when we met. Sometimes fate kicks you in the butt. We are now happily married (to each other) and wouldn't have it any other way.

I don't think love in any form is "wrong" ... but one has to ask themselves what the intentions are
and the truth is we can control our feelings, we are not robots, just because we have a feeling does not mean we are powerless to react to it
I don't know your situation, and that said, my guess is their are more "feelings" involved then just yours or the married womans, and you may not know as much as you think ... gather as much information as you can, and in the end, be loving to yourself, and do whats best for you
Addition: ok, you cant control how you feel ... That is true, but only to a certain extent ... That is, you can choose what to do, but you cannot choose what you want to do ... If you get what i'm saying, I think we are in agreement on this part ... but you seem to cloud the whole issue with the word "love" ... "love" does not trump reason and accountability

Knowing that the 'law" was written first, for the Jews, the commandent declares that we should not covet our neigbors wife - nor our neighbors things. Since we now live under grace's dispensation and the LOVE OF GOD came through Jesus and He has offered Grace to us, when you accept Jesus' love - you have a whole package you are making a committment to - He says that we should LOVE OTHERS AS HE LOVED US - AND HOW WAS THAT - HE DIED AND HE GAVE HIMSELF FOR US AND TOOK AWAY OUR SINS and thus, this is how we love others - that we love them the way Jesus did - we die to our own self imposed needs and greeds, and we accept our neigbors and forgive them of all their debts and wrongdoings -without question. And we go on from there. Knowing how Jesus loved you, there is no way that Jesus would be looking upon a 'married' woman for any other reason than pure love - loving her so that he forgives her sin, takes her sin away and loves her as if she never did any wrong. If you love the 'married woman' in this way - you are not wrong. You can't take it any further than HOW JESUS LOVED YOU, GAVE HIMSELF FOR YOU, AND TOOK AWAY YOUR SIN. It's very simple really. We make it hard because you are putting 'sin and satan' in this - you know if she is married - she is promised to someone else - and you must have the faith and strength to walk away - loving her as only Jesus loved her - nothing else.

Yes, you can control your feelings if you don't allow yourself to dwell on things that are wrong. It is only after you have allowed those feelings to grow that they become more difficult to manage.
If you are saying that it is OK because you can't control your feelings, then by extension, pedophiles also should not be held accountable for their feelings. No, that is just wrong. All people can control their feelings and not let them get out of control.

I guess it depends on how you feel or think about it morally to know that. But, falling in love with a married woman could surely cause a lot of issues and more drama then you may wish for. Be careful.

Sometimes the heart doesnt realise that some1 we care for is unavailable to us. It's not wrong to fall in love with a married person. But it is WRONG.... if u try and act on those feelings while the married party is still with their partner..

We can't help our feelings, but in the case of where your feelings are for someone who is not legally available, you have to learn to control them. According to the bible even if you think about doing something wrong in God's eyes you have already done the deed.

NO! absolutely not! you can't help how you feel! Just make sure you never edge this woman to betray her husband. you feel how you want to feel. This woman must be pretty great and lucky to have you and her husband love her, and whats wrong with that?
