Join clubs that you like (does your school have a community organization - a club that does good for the community?) If not, start one. If they have a club of something you like to do, join it. What about volunteering at the local community library or animal shelter or hospital? When you get out and active in life you will feel better generally and then everything will fall into place naturally. In order to have friends, act like one, to someone you would like to get to know better. Have a get together at your new house - ask a few nice people over for pizza and chips and have some music or a movie. Good luck and God Bless.

The good thing about starting a new school is that you can be anyone you want to be because nobody knows how you were at your old school. You can just be very outgoing even if your scared inside. Try joining clubs and extra curricular activities, you always can meet friends this way. Don't be afraid to strike up conversations with people even if you don't know them. I found it easier for me to hang out with guys when I moved to a new high school because they were more welcoming than the girls that had been living together and going to school together their whole lives and are so tight packed in their freindships. Don't forget about your old friends but you can't let it hold you back and let yourself be swallowed in self pity. Good luck! I know it can be hard.

When I was in high school we moved 6 different times. I was a military brat, and had parents with issues, so it seemed like I spent all of my time adjusting to a new school and making new friends. The one thing I learned is that nobody notices the things that we worry about the most. You know the dumb little things that we obsess over? "Nobody is going to like me because I have a zit." "I have an accent-They're going to think I'm stupid." "My shoes are over three weeks old." You know, nobody is judging you because they are so deeply entrenched in their own acne crisis, they aren't even aware of yours. So just be nice and wait patiently, and before you know it, you'll have more friends than you know what to do with.

Just be yourself. I know that it's terrifying going through these sudden changes but to make a friend is to be a friend. Sign up to your favorite after school activities and maybe you'll find some people who has the same interests as you and would love to have a new friend.

Well those girls didn't betray you, they just stopped talking to you....listen, you go to school to learn..not to make friends...dont worry about making friends..focus on what you're there to do, friends have a way of showing up....and obviously once you meet people they're not going to be actualy friends...they start off as acquaintances and then they start turning into friends....just give it some time, as for now focus on school, it appears you have alot of learning to do...such as how to write a complete sentence.....your third sentence makes no sense at all

well let's see... sounds like you are new, have "friends" but arent exactly friends that fills your expectations. you can be their friends for now, maybe you will meet other (and better) friends through them who knows... its hard to make friends and all but be patient. take what you got, then you select the best ones to be closer to you. try to join some kind of club, after school activity that would interest you... thats always a nice way of making friends. good luck!

try joining a club or after school activity. that way you'll be around people with similar interests so you'll have something to talk about to break the ice and in time you'll get to know them and figure out who are true friends and who are backstabbers

It takes time for an acquaintance to become a friend. I would be nice to everyone & wait & see who you start getting close to. Don't be afraid to make friends, just be cautious.

You should try to find people you have something in common with. You need to be outgoing. This experience will help you later in life. You will be more likely to succeed because you will be more self confident.
