This question is out of curiousity, because of the overload of MEDIA in our culture. I love how some people think their genius for coming up with their "creative" comments. It's obvious that some people didn't understand my standpoint on this question, which was a simple question.

I have not owned a television for over 9 years. Mostly I use my time to read, write, make things, research, hike, work out, sing, study, etc. I am never at a lose for things to do.

I do own one but I don't really watch it much. We don't have cable and only get a few broadcast stations.
In the evenings we usually read the paper, go to the gym, play with the dogs, clean the house, dinner and dishes...I do get on the computer some.
That's it.

my sister is blind so she does not have a TV she listens to the radio and listens to talking books and goes out alot.
