I asked a serious question a few days ago. I got a horrible response! I aksed if there was anywhere I could get some help through a tough time and the answer I got was so RUDE. Someone replied I need lifestyle changes and need to get back with my hubby and get him to work! If life was that easy! 1st off (if u r the one who wrote that) My husband left me for a high school girl that works at the grocery store, b/c he didn't want to responsibility of a family! 2nd, if it were that easy to make him work, don't u think i would have done that? 3rdly, I can't make anymore "lifestyle" changes. We don't have a phone, internet, cable, just the basics to survive. Daycare costs half my pay every 2 weeks. So, next time think before you speak! If anyone has had a totally rude response, here's your chance to let 'em have it! I'll give the points to the best butt chewing!

Don't let them get to you. I think part of the reason you get rude responses is sometimes we read questions on here from people that don't want to pay their bills, don't want to work and can't understand why the world isn't beating a path to their door to hand them money. We all get a bit cynical sometimes, me included, and spout off without thinking that maybe the person that posted the question really is doing everything that they can do and they're still getting buried.

There are a couple places you might try to get some emergency financial assistance. Call your local Salvation Army. They sometimes have emergency funds. It's not a solution though. It will just tide you over temporarily. You also need to apply for WIC or aid to dependent children. They will attempt to collect child support for you to repay whatever you get from them. If you belong to a church, they also sometimes help with emergency food.

I wish I had a magic solution for you but I don't. Keep your chin up. If I think of anything else, I'll let you know.

ok this isnt for someone on here, but I went to junior high with this guy who told me "you have a good face for radio" and now I have done some local modeling and commercials. So much for radio. Sometimes rising up is better than any butt chewing I could give. But believe me, I have rehearsed in my head a hundred times what I would say if I saw him

All's I can say is, don't judge others until you've walked a mile in their shoes. Don't judge-try to help. Many people don't have any empathy at all. I wish you luck through your hard time, I know how it is, I've been through a lot of bad things, too.

My honest response would be to not let those people get to you. Yes, mean people suck, but do not them take you down to their level. Just brush them off, and know that you are better than them.
