I would get rid of the 307 and put in either a 350 V8 or a 455 V8, you'll easily get alot of power from those motors.

LOL....magically turn it into a big block. Seriously....i have never seen a 307 bumped up that high and even if you could you would probably not like the reliability of the engine...or the drivability of the boat with that much power

you should be able to find another gm b body with a 455 , use all those parts to swap in the 455 after you get it rebuilt with a mild performance upgrade . the 307 will be unreliable @ 400 hp whereas the 455 will only be mildly stressed

Ain't gonna happen,to get that kind of power with an Olds you need a 455. It would be easier to find a car of the same chassis with a Chevy V8 and use that instead,Oldsmobile speed parts are crazy expensive.

Trade the car in on something with a big block engine.

Unless you have $10K to spend on custom engine modifications at a pro shop, internally and externally, it won't happen. Many of the parts you'd need to do that, don't exist.

Add a big nitrous kit and replace the engine each time you blow the heck out of it.
