that's about right, just make sure its OK, check the oil, put your RAC card in your pocket and give it a 2 hour run down the motorway at about 70 or so. watch the oil and water on the dash, make sure that it is maintaining oil pressure and water temperature at the right level. watch carefully for fluctuations

let it stand idling, make sure the fan cuts in. get your multimeter on the battery and make sure it charges and stops charging when the battery is full. listen to it, does it idle smoothly? watch the tachometer if you have one, modern engines should idle at ~ 800-1000 revs, does it?

listen to the engine, especially when you start it from cold, rattles or knocks?

when you have the engine warm sit in the car and rapidly accelerate the engine, don't race it, just listen as it revs, make sure its firing evenly on all cylinders, i find its easier to hear when its accelerating.

look underneath it when its been stood at night, is anything leaking?

if you see anything on any of the above points that gives you concern take it back, if they won't do anything take it to a recognised garage asap, get a *written and dated* diagnosis/quote. this gives you some good firm ground to stand on if you end up having to take the garage to court.

i think of it relies upon. a chum of mine got here to my bathe with a TON of previous boy outfits for my daughter, which I basically wound up donating because of the fact I had no choose for them. She additionally gave me a used Sleepy Wrap that had poop stains on it and asked me to take it off my registry in the previous I knew it grow to be stretched and stained. Now, I in no way assume something from all of us, so if she might have contain extremely no longer something, i would not have minded, yet I felt extremely undesirable donating the flaws she gave me because of the fact I heavily did no longer choose blue onsies that pronounced "Daddy's Little Boy". lol. So i think of as long as that's suitable and sparkling, she'll in no way even understand. If she's having a woman and you come across some cutsie girly issues, choose for it. yet i might additionally get her some thing small new (like slightly teddy undergo even) alongside with the 2d hand products.

I reckon it should be, unless there is any reason why you cannot take your car out for a test drive within 30 days. If you take it out for a drive and there appears to be something wrong, take the garantee back and tell them the engine is faulty.
