I too have a National Diploma in Agriculture, with 7 years experience, I'm now a Tree Surgeon.. trust me there is no money in farming unless you own the farm/land..! Farming cant compete with what i earn now and the hours are way better!

Why not? Gardening is the same all over the world. You just have to get used to zone and soil conditions, as well as regional preferences.
