i would rather watch grass grow then watch women's bball. but plenty of women and some men enjoy watching women's sports. saying a woman's place is in the home is an ancient, ludacris statement.

this is coming from someone who despises women's sports. however i like the comment about women's volleyball because those girls are hot. also, women's tennis has some attractive young ladies.

just because we dont like women's sports doesnt mean there isnt a fan base out there

if a womans place was in the home, then why are all those men competing? They should be out choppin logs or somethin.

But thats just not how it is. It is a free country. Me and all other women can do as we damn well please. Go ahead and try to stop me from bein a basketball player, and making a career out of it. If you want to get your balls kicked so hard they come up into your throat, then come on and try. I know like a billion people who watch womens sports. Being a Tennesseean, and having the Lady Vols, everyone watches them.

I guess all men are the same

First of all, you should definitely never ask that question again. girls have just as right to play a sport as men do and have them televised. Secondly, lots of people enjoy watching women's sports except for chauvinistic "manly" men like you. Third, if you don't like to watch women's sports then don't, be a man and go do something else.

While women may have the right to do whatever they feel in our society, there is no way you can watch the WNBA or the Women's NCAA and honestly say that it is not completely boring. No one really pays attention to it and that's why some WNBA cities are losing their teams because they are not getting support, not even from all of these liberal women who claimed that females should have a league of their own.

A#1: Are females capable of watching tv thru ther beautiful eyes ?
I think they can.
Maybe that's why they show female sports on tv.

A#2: Just in case margie takes a peek from her bread-making duties and would like to see Lorena Ochoa sink that putt, maybe she could if they show it on TV. (granted- Marg will have to wait until I go to the John to read my sports section of the newspaper for 'bout an hour.)

A#3: Marketing. Money, money money. Is always about money. Last time I checked, advertisers show comercials on TV during female sports events.

I agree about the tv thing cuz nobody really watches them anyway...but not with the other cuz women don't have to just sit @ home & babysit the kids. they can have lives now too, ya know.
