I'm five months pregnant and after my showers I feel really nauseas. Why does that happen and is it bad for me?

If you're taking really warm showers, you are dilating the blood vessels at the surface of your skin which may decrease blood flow to your brain. You might want to cool it down a little and not take too long a shower. It might also be a good idea to get one of those little shower chairs that you can sit on instead of standing. Any time you feel dizzy, lay down for a few minutes, and it will pass. Take care.

Warm water draws the blood to your skin, thats why your skin gets really red when people take showers. Thats also why you cant go into hot tubs when your pregnant. So when you feel dizzy your blood is rushing to other parts of your body. So try taking cooler showers. I did the same thing when I was pregnant.

I'm 4 1/2 and I'm getting that too. I haven't felt that way since I was 12 weeks. Don't know what's up... but I feel it too. I did read that you can get dizzy easily in your 2nd tri due to you blood pressure being a bit lower than usual. This is common.

It could mean that the shower is too hot. Move slower when getting out, also limit time spent in the shower to ten minutes or less, this should help.

It probably has something to do with your blood pressure. Make sure that you are really careful getting in and out of the shower feeling like this. best of luck.

Probably because you have sweat a lot in the shower and you are dehydrated...
