Soak them in hot soapy water for at least 15mins then use a bottle brush to get any remaining deposits off.
I agree it is a pain. I have a 3 month old baby and have the same dilemma with he's bottles. Sometimes I even have to run my finger around the inside whilst in soak.
I also sterilise the bottles in the microwave (hot steam) this all seems to work for me.
Good luck x

When I can, I rinse the bottles after my son is done with them- it helps keep the milk from drying and getting stuck on. I also keep a dishpan of warm soapy water on my counter and drop bottles into it as the day goes on. At night it takes only a swish or two of the bottle brush to clean out any remaining milk residue. I've tried using a dishwasher, but the suckers never get as clean. For bottles, handwashing is the best way to go.

I usually try to wash straight the way or leave to soak in soapy water then sterilise always. The special brush for bottles helps a lot as well.
Best wishes

fill bottle with 2 ounces of water, one drop of dish soap, and a table spoon of uncooked rice. Put the nipple back on and shake the bottle really hard. Rinse good and you're ready to go.
If still has milk, repeat and add little more rice.
Doesn't matter howlong the bottle has been dirty, it always works.

I would just ensure that you have enough bottles that you can leave dirty ones to soak for a long time. I can't think of anything else, except buying an old-fashioned bottle brush.

Soak them in boiling hot water with washing up liquid for 30 mins then wash with a brush and turn the nipples inside out then sterilise. They really shouldn't be getting that dirty, give them a quick rinse when its finished and put aside for sterilising.

rinse them as soon as you are finished..that way the milk is not getting warm and sticking to the bottle..if you dont have time to wash them properly, the rinse will have got rid of the milk until u get to wash them properly.

Use baking soda to scrub and then boil them to get the bacteria off. Works every time for me.
