Wasnt she expressing frustration that she had nothing elsd to say? John Edwards thought he was doing the Lord's work by having a plan to help the poor, and Ann Coulter showed what he/she had: NO solutions.
So what did he/she mean by that?

I think he/she meant that John Edwards has a smaller adam's apple than he/she does.
He / she just needs to give the hormone treatment time to catch up with her / his operation.
I have noticed that her / his facial hair problem seems to be getting better.

Since your argument implies that it should be OK for a person to express his or her irrational and culturally inculcated hatred for gays and blacks and Jews in public by using historically derogatory epithets such as "f.*****," then we might as well all run around expressing our hatred openly! No problem with wearing swastikas and calling our black friends ********. Of course we don't need to see counselors about it - or, for that matter, even make any attempt to get rid of our hatred at all. Hatred is a perfectly normal, everyday emotion; it should be allowed to flourish and be announced to the world using whatever hateful words we like.

Does Edwards plan to help the poor include getting huge malpractice settlements against Dr.s? Thus raising the cost of malpractice insurance. Thus forcing doctors to raise their prices to the point that the "poor" can no longer afford to go to the doctor?
Ann's joke was a joke. It doesn't require explanation anymore than George Carlin's skits do.

What was she thinking? She was probably thinking that the steam of publicity from her last "shocking" comment was just about at it's end so she needed to do something (anything) else to keep herself in the news.

coulter is like all the self loathing con chickenhawks. they hate themselves for being too weak to go and fight in the wars they claim to support, so she lashes out in a desperate cry for attention!
