It's a spalding TF-1000 ZK Microfiber Composite. I want that orange smooth-look to it rather than the brown new-leather feel. Is there anyway to speed up the process of breaking it in? I want to use it in a tournament I'm playing at in 2 weeks.

Take 3,500 free throws. It'll hone your skill for the tournament and your ball will look like you want it to. Got to hit the free throws.

(that's 250 per day for 14 days)

Take it wherever you go. Keep bouncing it only in places you wont get in trouble for. Before you know it, you ll have the look and feel to it in no time.

best way is to just practice with it, go outside and practice for a couple of hours a day your dribbling or just shootaround.
