I've been slowly getting involved with a guy I've known for a while. I'm not sure if things will get serious or not, so I'm just going along with whatever happens.
Things seem pretty good because we've both seen the best and worst sides of each other before now, and have similar problems. He seems seriously interested in me, but I've had relationship problems before and now have trouble trusting people.
I'd like to just forget the past and enjoy wherever things take us as we go along, but am unsure of his intentions. Am I worrying needlessly?

Don't look for the answers or intentions. You might miss the important things if you keep looking for what should happen. I am married now, but seven years ago I had just gotten out of a bad relationship. The man I am married to let me take my time and taught me to enjoy life and love again. Hopefully this guy is the same way, but if not the world will keep turning. Enjoy what you can learn from every experience and let things happen. Who knows you might just fall in love.

Those are very normal feelings. Little by little you will see how that trust grows and you will let your guard down.

No ur not. It's ok to not trust at first. That is something thats earned not given. And you're doing the right thing by talkin it slow. And if u are that unsure about wat he wants, ask him striaght up. But if you're not bold like that, ask questions around it. Its always a good thing to kno wat ur getting yourself into.
