Which country do you live in? There are more than one countries represented here.

Regardless of where you live, corruption in your country is the same as corruption has always been in all countries. The rich take advantage of the poor. The powerful take advantage of the weak. There is a difference if you live in a democracy: people have the power to fix it. The won't, but the ability is there!

Greed ,selfishness ,for money and power at the expense of other people .Corruption is always rooted in govt. and victimizes the people being governed .As in the US our political leaders and judges, after elected violate the oath of office they swear to support and defend (The constitution) They pass laws that are unconstitutional and judges enforce them with out reguard for the oaths they swear. That victimize rob and imprison the people to do slave labor for govt. profit .They cater to special interest groups and corperate interest ,for kick backs and campaign funds ,and vote for who ever is lobbing them with the deepest pockets. Not for the benefit of the people they represent .Democracy only works if the people can hold the person who represents them accountable for their actions (Which we can't) The only tool the people have to fight oppressive govt .and tyranny is the jury .That was a safe guard put in our system by the founding fathers .So citizens could protect each other from tyranny on the people by govt. passing laws to rob and victimize us. Even this safe guard has been comprimised by govt. and judges .As judges tell juries they are only to judge the facts and the guilt of the person .This is not true juries have not only a right but a responsibility to judge the fact and the law.Juries were put there to protect the people not convict citizens for govt to victimize .If a law violates a persons liberty or the charge against the person is such .That no persons life or property has been taken injured or damaged .The law in void and unconstitutional ,if there is no victim there is no crime .Govt. is not qualified as a victim as it claims to be
(The jury a right to judge both fact and the law when they choose it --Thomas Jefferson) History shines on juries who have voted not guilty on bad laws by govt, It only takes 1 person out of 12 to vote not guilty and nullify bad laws
