I have considered suicide in the past when everything seemed so hopeless and I just didn't have the energy to try to make things better. You can't see it now, but things will get better, and even wonderful things will happen. Since my darkest days, I met someone and fell in love, had a baby girl, bought a house, and am very happy, but I didn't see anything like that happening when I was so depressed and suicidal. Talk to someone, like a psychologist or a psychiatrist. I know good things will happen for you!

do you have family to depend on? any friends where you can roommate with them? You can start allover again, I've been in a similar situation. Sometimes you can ask for help at a shelter, salvation army, or government housing. Dont worry about being financially ruined. Relationships mend over time, I promise. You can always find a job near where you live so you dont have to drive to work. I've been there, I have worked like crazy, and bought an police auctioned car for $1000, got a better job, moved out, and finished my bachelors, and i'm only 25. Its never to early or too late. Remember, if your life is down, there is always an upside to that. Everything happens for a reason. Its just a test in life, it only builds character, so show the world your strength. You are hundred times luckier than people dying in middle east right now, I hope you can see how lucky you are being in america, you should dedicate it your life to reaching an american dream. Oh not to mention, I got on a financial plan to reduce debt, so you can ask for help from the local library. Much luck to you!!!!!!

It sounds to me as though you have been given a brand new start.
Lighten up, start over.
You will get through this period, you have gotten through worse times, if you think back I am sure will will know that that is true.
Today is the 1st day of your life.
Tomorrow or after several tomorrows, you may be happier than you ever were in your old life.
You have a clean slate, no woman to tie you down, a car is , well yes, practical and important, but it is just a material object.
I have been where you are, more than once.
I was in Phx. AZ. when my daughters mom got a new "BO", and moved out. My car was broke down/ no good...And I was not working a full time job, or really at all...I was BROKE.
That was inJanuary of 2000.
Yeah I wanted to die, I was miserable.
I was 28 years old.
Well, I went down hill from the time she left.
Gave up custody of my daughter to Great Grandma, or atleast gave temp. custody...Guardianship...
Apt. was gone, and I had a Geo. metro, that worked part time.
7 years later I have a new wonderful woman...on my fourth vehicle since then...a place to stay...etc.
Just keep looking up.
Say a prayer.
Do not give up.

You partly answered it yourself by saying "broke" instead of "poor". Broke is a temporary inconvenience, rather than a state of mind like "poor" is. Work is a sure cure for it. Could you borrow a car from family/friends to get you started again? Or could you find a job you could bike/walk/bus to? The great thing about having nothing to lose is just about everything is an improvement.

Relationships come and go. You will have more, once you get back into the swing of things.

I'm 51, and started again...yet again. Suicide seems like a great out, but it compounds your grief and heaps it onto your family and friends....not a good choice.

Go talk to someone you trust quickly. A parent, pastor, friend, etc.. Anyone who knows you and loves you and wants to see you do better. Suicide is never the answer. Because we've all made mistakes in the past and this is a mistake that you can't take back and that's not what we're put on this earth for. There is a reason for each of us to be here and it's not to take our own lives, no matter how bad it gets. Please talk to someone. God be with you right now.

Relationships ruined :

Finances

Transportation

But through all this, I still don't know what's going to happen tomarrow. Everyone experiences pain,
PAin is just weakness leaving the body, but imagine: all the pain your feeling, you would want to put your family and friends through that?

Suicide is the most selfish act that I can think of. What would you be doing to everyone you know? Anyways, do you want to be thought of as weak, or be well respected by yourself and others cause you pulled out of a bad situation and prevailed. Personally, I have done the latter, and am a much happier person now than I ever have been. Plus, i have respect for myself and have found what I am capable of. You will never know that puttin the gun in your mouth. Email me if you want advice.

There is always someone worse off than you! Count what blessings you have left, then close your eyes and jump back into life with both feet! NEVER give up, take a break maybe, but don't EVER give up! Thats not the way God designed us!
Get out there and help someone who is down and out, get your mind off your problems, the good you put out will be returned to you.

Start over...that's what I'm doing. My 12-year relationship bit the dust and after having over $15,000.00 in the bank this time last year, I'm struggling from paycheck to paycheck. But hey, America isn't called the "Land of Opportunity" for nothing!

I went throw the same thing! Then I realized that NOTHING is as bad as it seems!! I had no money , no father for my child, no friends, no money, no care , no food!!! I wanted it to stop and ya know what? It got better!! Find what will make YOU happy. **** everybody else!! It is your soul that is troubled, and if you kill yourself, it will ONLY make you suffer more. Life IS the most precious gift and I am glad that I didn't do it!! Keep strong, find faith(whatever it may be), START OVER!! I moved 7 hours away to start over. Try someplace sunny. That's what I did. Please don't. I guarantee you will regret it!!!!
