Do you consider the first day of heavy bleeding day one, or the first day you notice a spot of blood day one?

the day that you first bleed, no matter if it's just spotting but not heavy enough for a pad or tampon, good luck and best wishes

Doctors usually go by the first day of heavy bleeding - which is usually day 2, considering the spotting on Day 1.

My last 2 periods I actually spotted a day before I actually got my period(before it was due) which is kinda weird, but I only counted from the time my period started, I didn't count the little brown spots, pink spots, until it starts turning into more of a flow. The first day of your menstrual cycle is the 1st day of your period.

heavy bleeding ,as day one of course.to me if it doesn't get heavy you'll be on a period for a week. u ever notice that sometimes(some women)when u spot at the beginning or for a few days.... your period seems to last longer? this is y i say heavy bleeding

The first day of your menstrual cycle is the day that you need to wear a pad or tampon. If you wipe and are spotting and don't need to wear a pad or tampon then that's not the first day of your menstrual cycle.

When the bleeding starts. When I had periods, mine was so light, alot of times that's all it was....spotting the whole time. But it was a normal period, nonetheless.
