I am curious if any of you have dated a much younger man and if so, how long did it last? I am 55 but have very youthful genes and have been told I look early 40's. I am just curious about what might happen after my youthful genes aren't working for me anymore? PS: I still have my period so I am thinking that is one of the reasons why I look so young not to mention that I excercise daily and eat right.

First of all, you should date whomever you want. If you two get along well, then enjoy your time together. Having said that, a 15 year difference might cause a problem. I suppose if he were 20 and you were 35, that would definitely be a problem because he might just be getting his legs in adulthood and you may have experienced more at 35. But the 55 to 30 difference may be OK because the both of you had time to fully settle into adulthood. There may be some catching up to do, but I say if you're happy, then follow your bliss. Live in the moment and stop worrying about the future. It will come soon enough.

Dating probably wouldn't be a problem. However, if you're thinking about marriage you may want to think about how your husband will feel when he's 40 and you're 65. Even though you look younger now, that may not be the case later, especially when he's 50 and you're 75. Fifty is still young for a man and it's about the time they start looking for that mid-life crisis younger woman to have an affair with so they feel younger themselves. You may still look really good at 75, but there's no way you'll be able to compete with someone who's 25 or 30 (or younger). If you're looking for marriage, I'd look for someone closer to my own age. That's just me though.

My youngest daughter's father was 8 years younger than me, we met when he was 26 and I was 34, we were together for 8 years, things were kool in the beginning, as we were at the same place in our social lives, but I wanted a more quiet reserved life, and he wanted to party on, so we broke up due to his irresponsible behavior. Age does not make a difference. My present husband is 5 years older than me, at times I think I am too young for him, from being with younger men, some of their immaturity rubbed off on me, and it shows that I am not as mature as I should have been for my age. I now enjoy very much being with an older man, but it is him the person, not the age, just as with the younger man it was him the person and not the age.

I am a 35 year old woman married to a 49 year old man. After both partners are 18, age differences really don't matter. I have discovered that all that really does matter is compatibility. My husband and I have been together for almost 16 years, and married for nearly 12. My husband is concerned about getting older- he turns 50 this year- but I honestly don't see what the big deal is. It isn't going to change his personality, which is the reason I love him. He's already lost half his hair, and I like it. It is on his head. Age doesn't matter-love does.

My wife fell in love with a guy who is much younger than her. Says it is love and willing to leave me and take the kids along with her. I am not sure how it is going to work out but I think it may not last long and my kids will be ruined in between.
