Does your child sleep through the night? Are you breast feeding?

Chances are your body is having trouble sleeping because it is anticipating having to get up and care for the baby.

My son did not sleep through the night until he was about 14 months old and I had the same problem.

My daughter slept through the night from about 12 weeks and there was no problem for me at all.

It might be just a phase for you. I would try getting both you and her on a sleep schedule (the best you can) and see if that helps you. Try keeping her up a little later so she will sleep a little longer. That way you will be able to anticipate a good sleep time frame. If you don't have any luck, talk to your doctor and see what suggestions they have on the cause!

Good Luck!

Yes. I'm always listening for the baby, even though he sleeps pretty well now. I think the body just gets used to being up often (starting while pregnant). I can usually fall asleep okay, but wake up a lot and have a hard time getting back to sleep.

Yes until I finally pass out from exhaustion. I am laying there waiting for him to start crying or checking on him if I haven't heard him in a long time.

Don't worry, you should start resting again when he's 30.
Good Luck And good night zzz's

so did I on my first child, I was always listening, I woke up even when my husband just turned around, actually my babygirl was quiet but I didn´t find any sleep. Now I got my sec. child and it´s much better, I even often take her in my bed or let my daughter take her so I can sleep better!

let her sleep with you. i finally listened to myself instead of our silly anti-baby culture, and it made everything wonderful.
