How can I get on a steady path to becoming a journalist?

I have no idea how I can get any practica in my chosen career. I am still young, but I do still need practice. How does someone get to be able to write for a magazine or a newspaper?

start writing
be perfect when you write as well.....
practice (spell check can be your friend)
for my chosen career (for in place of in)
but i still need practice (do not need do)

you say your young, their are schools for journalism that you can write to. tell your parents what you want to do and ask their help for financeing because it will cost you money for school. If you go to school now, pay particular attention to english, journalism in your school and sending away for courses to help you in advance.
