The RS 10 greatest albums of all time : what do you think of this list?

Agree w/ most, but not surprising at all considering it's RS.

I believe that RS did a fairly good job compiling the list. The only thing that I don't like is the high number of Beatles albums in the top 10. Don't get me wrong I am a huge Beatles fan but there are other albums that had just as big of an influence. I would take off The White Album and add Are You Experienced, the debut of the greatest guitarist ever. Highway 61, should be No.2. Dylan is the best lyricist of his generation, changed the format of the radio single (Like A Rolling Stone) and perpetuated a genre (Folk).

I know it's RollingStone, but I don't agree with picking songs from primarily one genre. This isn't easy thing to do by any means, but a lot of great albums from every era are missing. I wouldn't put Sgt. Peppers at the top either.

I think Zep should be in there somewhere, maybe replacing the Beach Boys. How did they come up with this?

I like it but I would have picked Revolver as number one. Musically it very different and influencial.

Other than Floyd's "Dark Side" not being in there, it looks good to me!
