Why do I lose connections when playing playstation 2 ganes online?

Check your ethernet cord, and always be checking your modem. Mine had this problem also. I plug in my ethernet cord to the back of my ps2 and be checking my modem for the green light saying that my ethernet was plugged in, and sometimes it would not show up. Maybe you need a better ethernet cord.

it could be the modem if you are using the lenex system you will have problems and the one that walmart sells has been having probs. i bought mine from the sony site and i havent had a prob yet.
