Stay away from lobster, also known as the cockroach of the sea!

You may wish to try the salmon and scallops. Swordfish and tuna steaks can be outstanding. Clams are always an option but I prefer white clam sauce on pasta.

Don't forget to pack your woolies, it may be spring, but it's cool up there.. Have fun!

If you come to Vermont for seafood, you'll be sadly mistaken if you think we get tons of fresh seafood.

The best place I know of for seafood is a place in St. Albans - Jeff's Maine. The owner drives to the docks in Maine a few times a week to pick out the seafood that the restaurant sells and serves.

Even then, it just does not rate when compared to seafood in Maine.

Lobster, crab, salmon, and Mahi Mahi are the best seafoods in my opinion. Maine? Consider yourself to be the lobster capital, yumm!
