YOU CANNOT PLAY ANY VIDEOS ON ANY IPOD NANO. YOU CAN ONLY PLAY MUSIC, SHOW ALBUM ARTWORK, SHOW AND SLIDESHOW PICTURES, PLAY GAMES, STORE CONTACT INFORMATION AND LISTEN TO AUDIO BOOKS WHERE AVAILABLE. IF THAT PERSON CAN PLAY VIDEOS ON HIS THEN HE SHOULD MAKE A KILLING BY BUYING MORE 4G AND HOOKING THEM UP, I'D PAY FOR 1. HOPE THAT HELPS.

The Nano hardware is fully capable of playing videos, even though the screen is so tiny that it's almost not worth it (unless you're pumping it to a larger TV screen through an adapter cable). It's the firmware that holds it back. The official Nano firmware will not allow video playback even though the hardware is there to do it. If you really want Nano video playback, you'll have to void your warranty by installing some homebrew firmware or find a way to shoehorn the Video firmware into the Nano.

No. this is the 2nd technology nano. in elementary terms the third & cutting-edge 4th technology play video clips. A clue to that could desire to have been finding on the main suitable menu show screen shown. No video selection.
