As an American, I don't think she forgave them. I mean they did kind of write two hit songs about abolishing the monarchy and did try to play the song during her jubilee while on a boat floating across the river Thames, in front of her palace.
I mean would you forgive someone if they wrote a popular song bashing you and then tried to play it in front of your house on your birthday?
