he's reportedly gonna play for them this coming season. he probably will join them in mid season of they take him. and lets face it they will take him because brown hasn't amounted to much. the dolphins also sued him for his signing bonus that he got FROM NEW ORLEANS..AND THEY WON..(that's besides the point)..point is if they were bold enough to sue a guy for money they didn't give him...then they'll take him back in a heart beat simply because its a business.
i'm sure he'd go play else where if the nfl didn't screw him and if the dolphins would let him go.
apparently one can't retire when one wants to unless the fans, the team, and the league ..say's its okay.
pretty pathetic.

Ricky has to be reinstated by the NFL first. That has not happened yet.
When/If he is reinstated, he WILL play for the Dolphins again. His contract is not nearly up (answer farther up the chain) he still has 3 more years (I think)
Yes, Miami has Ronnie Brown, but Ricky plays for veteran minimum. He is still an excellent RB.
Ricky will not go back to Canada unless the Dolphins LET HIM. The Dolphins own his exclusive rights. He was only allowed to play in Canada this past season on the condition that he return to the Dolphins in 2007.
as for not playing well in Canada, he only averaged nearly 5 yards per carry, was 8th in the league in rushing (despite missing time with a broken arm)

I got your Ricky info ! he did an interview with Scott Ostler of the San Francisco Chronicle.
he has been taking his drug test from the NFL since last year when he was suspended. the NFL has kept up with him and traveled up there as well as to his home 3 times a week to test him. he even gave his Yearly trip to India up not to violate NFL drug policy. he wants to come back and play football this year.
he will petition the NFL commissioner for reinstatement, i believe on or around April 25Th a year from when he was suspended.
what happens then i don't know , from what i seen and read in the article Ricky looks like he's ready to go!

d b is right. everyone else here answers questions as if they were forced to, cause their all just stupid opinions. Ricky is in debt and will continue to play for the phins for league minimum. brown is a great rb, and hasn't shown it because the offense was horrible. this year, you will all see how good Ronnie is. to say he sucks or anything like that about the guy is ludicrous, but all of you will continue to say such things because that's what stupid people do. dolphins #1

No, his contract is about up, and after being embarassed in the CFL. I doubt the Dolphins are willing to put up with him with all his off-the field actions. He will demand interest but not even half as much as he used to.

i think that even if he does attempt to return to the nfl it won't be for very long. that said i think chances are slim, he was happy playing cfl, and if it allows him to play football he may stick around canada. i think we haven't heard anything because he isn't returning. if he was returning people would be predicting which week he'll finally fail a drug test.
