If a round pizza was put in a round box, then you would have to cut the box to get the pizza out. It makes more sense for it to be in a square box.

Have you ever seen a round box? They are expensive to make and there is a lot of waste. Unless you want to be charged for the box on top of being charged for the pizza, accept the square box, or order a square pizza.

Boxes are square. Square boxes are easy to fold and store. Round boxes (which is possible, ever seen a hat box?) are more difficult to make. It's about convenience.

because boxes are not round, they are always Square...you can't bend cardbord...cuz if you do it will split apart or break.
Besides there is SO MUCH more room in the square box!
