I would definetly choose Target because some of Wal-Mart's products are too cheap, by that i mean bad quality, especially the cloths. I understand there is some good things there and at good prices but some things dont last and are really bad quality. As for Target most of the stuff is good and they have good prices most of the time. =]

That's tough..
You go to Wal-Mart to get everyday things
But you go to Target to buy quality things
I'd say Wal-Mart for now sense I'm a college student but later when I have more $$$ Target

I choose Target. The store and parking lot is clean, products are well lit and labeled, they carry the brands my family prefers, it is easy to call for assistance and they provide excellent customer service. I don't have anything against Wal-Mart but I would rather not shop at any of the locations near me.

Wal-mart because Target won't let the Salvation Army or Vet organisations solicate there stores during the holidays plus they won't contribute to any fund raisers for your local community. They are a foreign company [ French ] and you'll never see a Salvation Army member ringing his bell outside Target. There prices are no too good either.

I'd go with Target because of the awesome commercials...they just make you want to go there. As for Wal-Mart...it's sort of disappointing they started out selling american products but now they have to buy from less expensive countries, which is dumb so Target all the way!

Depends on what you are shopping for. Groceries, Walmart is cheaper...but I find their produce is lacking. Target has great meat prices, and some very good quality and healthy meats. Clothes, I give the edge to Target...better quality. Electronics, I also tend to go with Target. Walmart tends to have better clothes for larger people...they seem to cater to the fat American market (And yes I fall into this category). In my town, they are across the road from each other...a Super Walmart and a Super Target and more often than not, they are literally 2 cents off from each other in prices most of the time.

Wal-Mart. I can buy everything I need to survive there. In the one near my place, I can go get new tires on my car, buy anything from TP to High Def TV's to lobster for my dinner! Then when I'm done shopping, I can get my taxes done by H &R Block, go visit my bank, and possibly get my hair cut at the salon there.
I think the only thing they can do to make my life easier is deliver the stuff to my door. That, or perhaps clean my house for me!

Wal-Mart. I'll never shop at Target again after they refused to donate proceeds from the sale of Elton Johns tribute album to Lady Diana to her charity like every other retailer did at the time. Wal-Mart is an American success story.

Target, I don't care if I have to pay more, I just can't stand how crowded Wal-mart is all the time.

Wal-mart has more. The stores are laid out more consumer-friendly. I don't like Target's lay-out as well.
