I used clomid with my daughter and i got pregnant the first time around. I was really lucky though since it normally takes about three rounds of pills to concieve. Your to take it days 5 to 9 of your cycle and you will ovulate around day 13 or 14. I had a positive test 12 days after conception. She is 6 `/2 now and i had no side effects at all with her. Good luck!

The first time I took it I conceived that first month. Unfortunately, I had a miscarriage. It took me 8 months after that to conceive again on it, but I have a healthy baby girl. I conceived again on it after 6 months. I am currently 15 weeks pregnant. The side effects I experienced were irritability, some night sweats and some weight gain (about 1 to 1-1/2 lbs. per month). I had to be examined by my OB monthly while on it to check for enlarged ovaries or cysts. If you don't like the side effects of Clomid, you can ask your doctor about Femera, which works similar to Clomid but with less side effects.

Well I never did conceive with Clomid. Even though its a fertility drug, its not 100% guaranteed. With that being said, it varies on how long it will take you to become pregnant. The side effects I had were pretty mild, but they included, nauseous the first month or so, and some headaches.

Good Luck!
