The bucks have a distance shot at making the playoffs. Quite frankly, the East is very weak this year and if this was any other year, they would have NO chance.
That said, in order for the Bucks to make the playoffs, they would a meltdown from the Pacers, Magic, and Knicks. The Bucks are five games behind the Pacers and they would have to over come five teams: Philly, Atlanta, Indiana, Orlando, and New York.
Keep in mind the philly has won 7 out of their last 10 games. In order for the Bucks to get into the playoffs, all five teams would have to play horribly while the Bucks play perfect basketball.
Bottomline: It's possible, but very unlikely.

No, they are way to behind in the standings, they would have to finish the season a minimum of 12-5, just to stand a chance, and with games looming at Dallas, Cleveland, Houston, Detroit, I doubt they will be able to pull it off. It isn't too bad, they are lottery bound, and who knows they may get a chance at Durant or Oden or even Brandan and Julian Wright(no relation). Expect a good year next year with one of those guys, a healthy Redd, and the return of Bobby Simmons.

Any team with a sub .500 record who makes the playoffs is a disgrace to the NBA structure for the playoffs.

no! even though the east sucks, the record they hae is terrible and they will be lucky to win 30! at 30-52, that is not good enough to make it! maybe next year!
