A lot of people use it as a
pick and choose topic
I believe that a "true" pro-lifer would try to protect any life that it could
not just the unborn.

If you believe in pro-life and the death penalty at the same time you my friend are being a hypocrite
.

You can believe in anti abortion
and the death penitently

Yes, a person could be both things at the same time because they are irrelevant to one another. Pro-life is a term relative to the subject of abortion, while the death penalty is a punishment to those who have committed a capital offense.

Yes the issue is about abortion taking the life of the unborn . The death penalty is a separate issue and is about should we have an ultimate penalty for convicted murderers .

Apparently there are lost fo people who do not support abortion, yet support the death penalty behind the reasoning that the unborn are innocent and the people being put to death are not. I however support neither.

Yes, they can. One really has nothing to do with the other. They are two completely separate issues. Pro-life has to do with the abortion issue and the death penalty with capital crime offenses.

I believe so. The argument generally focuses around the abortion debate. An unborn child has no one to speak for him/her, while the criminal sentenced to death had all their life to act in accordance with society's laws.
When the criminal violates those laws, he/she is subject to judgement by a jury of their peers. The punishment for some crimes is the termination of that individual's place in society.

Pro-life and pro-choice are convenient labels - they have the advantage of being well-known, if not totally accurate.

Not in reality but they do rationalize. To me pro--life means you are for preserving life in any form.
