1) Practice.
2) Find a good voice instructor to work with.
3) Practice some more.
4) Always breathe and sing from your diaphragm.
5) Practice.
6) Don't give a hoot about what other people say about your voice (other than your teacher, of course.
7) And oh yeah - PRACTICE.

You just have to practice, if you feel it's necessary, hire a good instructor, I came by it naturally, I have been singing since I was 3 though, it just depends on the person, otherwise, I'd say PRACTICE!
