At school our parking lot got messed up from all the snow and the entire row I usually park in is covered so no one can park there. I parked in some other spot today and when i left school I found a note saying the person was going to kill me if I park there again. Im not stupid so i know the kids not gonna kill me, but I know who the person is. So what would be the best thing..legal or illegal to do to this person for threatening me?

1) Try not to park in other people's spots.

2) Go to the person you believe left the note and talk to them about it. Let them know that what they did was quite an overreaction and that the only reason you parked there was because your spot was unavailable. Also, let them know that leaving notes is a less effective way of communicating - they should have said something to you if they know who you are.

3) If you are worried about something happening to you, then contact your local authorities. You can never be too sure about people nowadays...everything has to taken at least a little seriously.

If the parking spot is assigned to that kid, then park somewhere else. If it isn't, then park there if you want.

Tell the kid (since you know who it is) that if he has an issue with it, you can take care of it in a private place. That should shut him up...Especially since he was not man enough to confront you in person and had to leave a note instead.

I can think of a lot of "illegal" things that would put him right in his place if he persists, but we won't go there right now.

Well, I would't just let that slide -- some ppl do have issues with can make a person do sumn like that over -- a parking space. I'd ask the person if they were serious, or see how they act when you come around. If they all "buddy-buddy" then that person was joking. But if you feel threaten by this person, I'll tell someone.

Hope this helps :)

Do you do the manly thing and confront the threat directly, risking the possibility of actual Death, or do you do the legal thing and file a police report:? If you feel threatened respond as you see fit, if you feel it's more a prank than a real threat ignore it. The blogbaba would approach the person, and politely address the potential threat, then respond accordingly. But then, no one would ever issue a death threat to a blogbaba, that sort of thing just doesn't happen.

i would definately keep the note, maybe even send a copy to local law enforcement just in case the kid does something to your property and you have to go to court- there will be a record and a paper trail to use for evidence. if you don't feel legitimately threatened, i would just try to ignore it and move on. if you do, maybe you should try to get a restraining order. or you could embarrass the kid by having a frank discussion with his parents. it depends how far you want to go with it.
personally, i would just send a copy of the note to cops just so they know what is going on, and then i would move on with my life.

If you suspect a specific individual, you should report them to the police at once, especially if you found a hand-written note.

Don't take matters into your own hands - otherwise you might inadvertantly take it out on the wrong person.

How simple does this need to be? Ignore him and don't park there anymore. A parking space is not worth getting beat up or in any sort of trouble over. This is ridiculous.

I would defiantly contact the authorities. We live in a day and age when such threats should be taken seriously.
