some. especially when they're both very young. it also depends on the breed of the rabbit and the dog. checkout the character and the history of the breed of the dog before putting them together, some dogs are bred to hunt rabbits. a guinea pig would be a better choice if you'd want to have a companion for a rabbit but dogs are fine with their owners.

Theoretically they can get along and some do. But you have to be careful and I would never leave the dog alone with the rabbit. Even in situations where the owner was sure nothing would ever happen, I have heard too many sad stories where the dog attacked the rabbit and the rabbit died.

Depends on the breed of rabbit and dog. Some dogs get along great with rabbits, especially if they are raised together. I use to have a Chihuhua and a lab mix that got along with three rabbits! Some dogs have natural instinct to chase/hunt/hurt rabbits. Talk to a breeder and veterinarian about what would be a good breed of dog to have.

No. The dog is a predator and a rabbit is a prey animal. The dog would probably kill the rabbit. Unless a puppy and a bunny grow up together can they get along.

I once owned a 'black and tan coonhound' and also a 'pet rabbit' ... 'black and tans' are HUNTING DOGS and 'rabbits' are one of their 'natural prey animals' ... but Taffy (the rabbit) and Linus (the dog) were BEST FRIENDS and if I took then to the park or camping I could just put Taffy on the ground without a leash and Linus would 'guard her' like Taffy was his 'puppy.' When Linus fathered pups, though, I got one, and Linus never could 'stand' that puppy, and I finally had to give it away. In other words ... some dogs get along with some rabbits ... but to find out if your dog can get along with your rabbit you'll need to 'put them together' with the rabbit in a cage at first, and then 'out' at the same time and BE THERE TO WATCH and remove the dog if it turns out that they 'don't' get along. Generally, though, if YOU 'love' both, they'll 'love each other' in the same way ... which is a 'neat thing' about having pets of different kinds.

Some dogs get along fine with rabbits. Mine does. Some have to be raised together.

It's best if the dog and rabbit have been raised together and it depends on the breed of dog and the temperament of both animals.
I bunny sat for a friend awhile back.
My German Shepherd took to this bunny from word "go." Carried it around by the head like a puppy. Snoozed with and nuzzled it.
However, that same "gentle" dog had no hesitation when it came to chasing squirrels or cats with evil intent.

If the dog has grown up with the rabbit, it will usually be OK. If it is not a puppy, then put a muzzle on it and find someone who has a rabbit and test your dog. Breeds bred to hunt and kill rabbits will almost always not get along -(sighthounds , terriers, etc.)

It depends on the dog and the breed. I have a wolf hybrid that's scared of rabbits, a Pomeranian/Papillon mix that gently plays with them and a Spaniel mix that would like to have them for dinner. We named him Hunter because of our first rabbit, he tried to drag it off by the ear. He was 6 pounds and the rabbit was 10 pounds. If we were to allow it he'd hunt the rabbits for the kill. We only bring the rabbits out when he's outside. Hunter was raised with rabbits from 2 months on to present 4 1/2 yrs and he's never been good around them. His hunting instinct is very strong. My 2 rabbits are indoor kept. but Hunter won't bother them in their cages, only if they were out on the floor and he were to be in (we tried to see his reactions, first time he was fine, second time he snapped, so out he went).
