what kind of tires looks best on 1981 Turbo Trans Am, tires with raised white letters or just plain black, dos it make any diffrence in look.

I've never been a big fan of raised white letters, but they were what came on the car new...and they do look nice on those big old Trans Ams...

If it were a newer model, I'd go black, but on this one, I'd think the raised looks right.

I owned a new one in 1981 . black tires with with lettering was the norm. I had michelin tires on mine from the factory

raised white letters look good on those old cars, blackwalls won't look right because the height of the sidewall is so large. Just make sure you buy good brand tires, since if you buy cheap white letter tires its pretty obvious to anyone stopped next to you that you bought cheap tires...

Even observed production facility 4-spd one, that replace into uncommon I wish he'd picked up that one besides the fact that if it replace into 6 cyl. i might have swapped in a 350.

typically RWL tires look more sporty, but it all depends on your opinion.
