Trojan virus is very hard to get rid of. Yes, you could reformat your entire computer but with computer viruses they will reproduce themselves into other parts of your hard drive and you will still have a problem. It is always good to have the most up to date virus protection system on your system, update it regularly so the anitvirus has the lastest knowledge of new viruses so it can take care of them properly. Our computer tech at our job told us the only other options you may have are:
1.)To reformat your computer and turn off your system restore.. because sometimes when you restore your computer to a earlier time it will unlock the virus.
2.) If the reformat doesn't work. You'll have to buy a new computer.
I hope this helps..

Trojan.Cachecachekit is a device driver program that is used for hiding the existence of some predetermined files and it is dropped by W32.Spybot.NLX.
W32.Spybot.NLX is a worm that has distributed denial of service and back door capabilities.
------------------------
From the details on symantec it looks like your xp has not been patched and the worm is exploiting the holes .
1a) update your windows xp and get it patched http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

i'd follow more beneficial high quality products then freeware for trojan horses. oftentimes freeware for trojans may be different issue fastened or not one of the priority fastened and in the accurate you basically waste time. My advice is form Micro in spite of the undeniable fact that it does expenditures money. yet time wasted with loose courses is lost money so imagine it as you would save earnings the accurate.

you have to do a MBR boot scan. The trojan is on the cache memory so even though you scan your drives you are not cleaning out the cache aka RAM and CMOS these days, So even when you clean your system as soon as you reboot it's going to reinstall again.
