You cant even audition for X-factor and go through to the next round, you have to be 16, so sorry you will just have to wait a few more years.

I'm very sorry but you have to be over 16 years by 1st April this year, to get onto X Factor. One girl last year lied about her age but when she got through to the next stage, admitted that she was only 14 so couldn't go but had wanted Simon Cowell to hear her.

I would wait until you are 16 before going to X Factor anyway, you don't want to end up going and being pushed away before you've even started. Try posting your voice on websites. Look how Lily Allen started!!

You have to be 16 years of age at least, so keep practising and apply in two years time.
If you do enter and then they discover your real age you will be disqualified for not meeting the right criteria for the show.

I think that you might be a bit to young to enter the age limit mis 16 but the best of luck to you if you get on it.

Ask her. It's your dream to sing in X Factor so let her know. She could say no or yes but if you don't ask then you will never know. Or you could wait until your 16 then you won't need to ask. I'm sure X Factor will be going on then.

oh yeah they change it to 14 didnt they!
i think if u let her hear u sing and prove that u would be able to do both ur studies and take the flack from Simon Cowell then speak to her! the worst she can do is say no!
or just send the application form anyway and tell her someone did it for you coz they thought ur voice was amazing! she might feel good that her child can make it!

You've got plenty of time to tell her, you have to be sixteen, but when you do i'm sure she'll support you 100%, she'll be proud of you for going for it. I'll expect to see you on it in two years time then.
