For the same reason that men can sleep with a million women as still get respect. It's 2007. To tell you the truth it's hardly ever the guys that don't respect you as long as you're a respectable person. It's other women that turn women into whore's. Always judging when their personal lives aren't much different.

How does having a one night stand suggest that you're not worthy of respect? I don't see how its disrespectful to exercise choice. Adult women should be able to experience sexual freedom without being seen in a negative light.
Me, personally, I wouldn't be concerned about how I'm viewed by a person I just met. The way I see it and have always carried it, just because I had sex with you doesn't mean I owe you anything- that includes mutual respect. I respect myself.. PLUS.. I got off. That's enough for me.

I had a ONS on saturday. He asked several times if I was going to call him the next day and I assured him I would so he asked for my # "just in case i forgot" The funny thing is I had/have NO intention of calling that guy. So I would like to know if guys expect us to respect them in the morning. Surely it works both ways.

If it's a one-night stand, it shouldn't matter whether he respects you or not afterwards since you won't see him again. Kick em out before breakfast & enjoy your coffee in *peace*!!
