I bought rainbow flip flops, large, and had them mailed to me the other day...when i got them they seemed too short, but they are supposed to fit up to an 8 1/2...and i only wear 8....do they stretch out in length as well as in width? has this happened to anyone else?

I am in the same boat I got mine for Christmas. You can take them to a dealer near you and you should be able to exchange them like at the mall. If you have not wore them. I would suggest getting a men's small. The woman's are to narrow for me. they are suppose to be uncomfortable until they are broke in molded to your feet after that they say they are a dream

I've worn Rainbows for years and they do seem to run small. I wear a 9 but always buy the XL women's size so my toes and heel fit on the footbed properly. I've tried the men's but thet are too wide and the straps are longer so they are too loose. Get the next sixe up!
