Try to identify what is causing you to have trouble sleeping. It can be the result of temporary increase in stress but it can also be other medical conditions such as asthma, hypoglycemia, or sleep apnea.

Other simpler causes might be drugs or indigestion. Try not to eat for the hour or two before bedtime and talk to your physician about medication routines. Other common culprits are caffeine, alcohol, or overall poor nutritional habits.

One of the simplest remedies for difficulty sleeping is a glass of warm milk right be bed. I had trouble being awakened by leg cramps for a while that were alleviated by eating a banana each morning for breakfast.

Calcium and magnesium supplements taken after meals and at bedtime may also help. There is a calcium supplement designed to work with your body's metabolism which you can get at a health food store. It is made by a company called Source Naturals.

well okay i hoped i helped.

I do! I don't really know why. At Christmas midnight Mass I was so tired and then when I got home I couldn't sleep! I have trouble sleeping on school nights too! A glass of milk helps.

No, but many people do. It may be because of RLS. You may also have a restless mind that makes it difficult for you to stop thinking about your day and start concentrating on sleep. There are many things. If you have trouble sleeping at night, you could ask your doctor. They may suggest Lunesta or another similar sleep aid.

I have a lot of trouble sleeping at night... it is mostly caused by the stress that i had in the day and my difficulty of thinking of anything else... sometimes i am uncomfortable and too hott... u might want to try soothing your mind with some music before going to bed and make sure you're not eating right before you go to bed

Yes, I have a hard time finding a comfortable position. And even if i've had a long day, I feel like so much is happening in my head. My brain is buzzing with activity. I have a hard time just shutting off so I can finally rest.

But this means every once in a while I have extreme fatigue to the point where I cant pick up my head and it just hangs there.

Yes as a matter of fact I do. First I thought it was the after lunch cup of coffee but then I realized it might be the glass of Coca-Cola for dinner. So, I try to cut out all caffeine after 3:00.

Stress, from work, school, bills. To happy things when I think of my time I had spent with my b/f that day. Eventually I do get to sleep.
