It depends on how the kids were raised. Everyone starts off pretty much the same (with the exception of actual deformities or mental problems) and its how you raise the kids that truly matters.
If you stick 'em in front of the TV at age 2 and leave 'em there till theyre 18, chances are they aint gonna be as bright as a kid whos parents taught him/her to read and enjoy reading and such. See what I mean?
And I have no idea where youre gettin your last idea. I know some pretty intelligent people with 5+ kids. And some pretty stupid ones with one or two kids. But everyone has ups and downs. Positives and negatives. Intelligence and stupidity, for one thing, are pretty much relative and come from a persons perspective on things, not any real scientific facts. And then a stupid person isnt necessarily a bad person. I know plenty of people that arent too bright, but they have wonderful hearts and I'd trust them with my life in a heartbeat.
Just some things to think about.
Have a great day

There are a lot of stupid intelligent people. One can have a high IQ but lack basic common sense. To me, stupidity is not a degree of intelligence, but rather of common sense to make wise choices. This is not an inherited trait, but rather a learned one. Because it is a learned trait, it can be unlearned. A person with a lower IQ cannot hope to have a genius IQ someday, whereas a person with zero common sense can get a clue, stop acting stupid, and start practicing common sense.

A know a doctor couple--they have nine children! I would not call them stupid. They run a joint practice, and their office is attached to their home.
Heredity can be a factor in one's learning abilities, but these days poor teaching and peers seem to influence children a lot more than their parents do--since the parents are never home, being parents!!!!

Yes your right as far as the first half of your question! No, stupidity inevitably will kill itself off. Don't worry about it! Just look at history. The intelligent always survive and the weaker minded perish. They refer to it as evolution!
