because we have a Republican president. If it were a Democrat who got us into Iraq they would be telling us how successful it is.

Look at Kosovo and Bosnia - we were only supposed to be there a year - but the press remains silent because it was a Democrat who go us into those quagmires.

Excuse me, but no one was talking about Iraq for almost a year after the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

The press isn't supposed to be for or against anything (except in editorials). They should just report what is going on.

It doesn't fit their political agenda. The mainstream media has become so polarized between the left and right that it is almost impossible to believe anything (in it's entirety) that is broadcast or printed as news. These "news" outlets would rather fish for soundbites that fit their political agendas, or rehash another story on Paris Hilton or Anna Nicole Smith, than give the American public the truth. Did the Administration spin or fabricate intelligence to justify the war?HELL YES, but that is OLD NEWS. Are there positives being accomplished? HELL YES, but you'll never hear about them. Isn't it funny(not really) that you never hear of ANYTHING positive coming out of Iraq? Nothing? C'mon.

Not really news sites, but you'll get a better picture of what's really happening and being said in the region.

Peace.

1. There is no proof of what you are saying.
2. The media in America isn't as reliable as say the BBC because it is run on it's advertisers. It is more important on what makes money and selling the news than to report good news. It does matter what side of the political spectrum (if any) is more represented because both sides are just out for the money.

Let's see...we went in there to "free" the snot out of Iraq. They want us out and we refuse to get out.

So who's really against Iraqi freedom?

umm. because they get higher ratings. remember the boycot on french products: liberty toast instead of french toast, freedom fries instead of french fries, velveeta instead of brie.
60% of this country is legally retarded and they're taking us down with it.

btw: democrats are as dishonest as republicans. they both follow the money. i'd like to eventually see the day when another party gets elected.
