Is it possible Kobe could end up tired by playoff team? San Antonio, Dallas, and Phoenix has too much offensive scoring power to tire out Kobe's threat. Should Phil Jackson start utilizing the other Laker players to play some NBA ball? Very inspiring scoring records against non playoff teams. Is it worth it?

Kobe is doing what he has to for the Lakers to win. They are not exactly coasting to the playoffs. I think Kobe will be fine, he is built for the playoffs. The other guys like luke walton, bynum, and lamar are stepping up. They just had alot of injuries of late which affected their chemistry and performance.

Yes, I saw last night on ESPN that he had another 50+ points performance so I looked in the paper this morning to see how many shots he took. He shot the ball 35 times, making 17. I thought that was outrageous. The next highest was Lamar Odom with 12 shots taken. I think that's ridiculous that he's shooting the ball 3 times as much as any of his teammates. He's either gonna get worn out or piss off his teammates cause they never get a chance to shoot. He definitely needs to spread the wealth to win in the playoffs. Once they play a team worth a damn, that can play defense against him, like Ginobili and the Spurs, they'll lose.

Like Phil said, there is no more time. The playoffs are coming and Denver is trying to take their spot. Kobe needs to take control of the game from now to the playoffs. Maybe they can practice that next year when all of them are already healthy.

Too risky. There's only like 15 games left in the season and it's super-crucial that they make run right now cause' they might be bumped right of the playoff race by the Clippers or Warriors or some other team.

I'm a Laker-hater by the way. GO KINGS.

They lost 7 straight games before he started to take over. No one ever asked if Michael Jordan did too much when he was scoring 35 points per game. They wouldn't even be close to playoff without Kobe.

Call Kobe what ever you want, but i definitely understand what Kobe is trying to do. His team is struggling horrible and now they found themselves at the bottom of the playoff race in the seven spot. Kobe is trying to put the team in his hands and do what he needs in order for the Lakers to win. 115 points in two games and two wins.

It is worth it because right now the Lakers are fighting just to stay in the playoffs. Lamar Odom and Luke Walton are still not 100% since coming back from injury. He should carry the load until Luke and Odom are back to 100%. They lack the stamina right now due to their injuries. In my opinion Kobe should carry the load.

Firecop, have you seen the lakers play this season? Phil told him to step it up... casue they have been too injured and the role players aren't stepping up... the season is winding down and they are running out of time. Its amazing how people try to act like they are giving the answer when they down understand the question.

kobe is hogging less than he did last year. if the lakers get a good enough pointguard, they'll make it and maybe go far. but yes, i think he is doing too much
