It is beautiful. I lived in Orlando for 10 years, just left. Winter nights in December get down to about 50 so bring a light jacket. Daytime highs can still be lower 80's. And you can get a sun burn still, so bring some SPF 15 at minimum. It normally does not rain much in the Winter season, so you shouldn't have to worry about that. But, it is Florida, so you never know. It will be too cold to get into the ocean, so if you drive to the coast, don't plan on getting in.
Keep in mind that the theme parks have their peak at Christmas, so if attending Disney or Universal, pack some extra patience as well.

As a native floridian, the Orlando temperatures in December range anywhere from the 30s to 60s during the evenings, and 50s to 80s during the daytime hours. It depends on the cold fronts moving from the north and northeast. High pressure systems will bring warmer temperatures to the central florida region. Temperatures will be mild in comparison to our neighbors in the northern states.
