Yeah, I was 16 before I started, I longed to be able to give that excuse not to have showers after games! lol

Trust me, you don't have anything to be jealous about, your not missing anything great, and all that a period adds is more responsibility, but your reaction is normal only because you are in a group of friends and you guys probably do everything together, but your time will come, just enjoy the time you have left.

Your period is the biological signal that you can bear children, which is a really clear way of saying, "Hi, I'm physically an adult!" even if you, or your friends, don't feel like it or act like it.
While a period can be a hassle, it's normal to be jealous. If all your friends got something, anything, and you didn't, you'd probably wonder what all the fuss was about.
But you're probably not abnormal. I know girls who started as early as 9 and as late as 16. It's a really wide range.

It's a female thing to get jealous. That means you are starting yours soon.
Don't worry in being in a rush in having these things. By the way, when you do have it, I bet you a million bucks you will be complaining about menstrual cramps when you get older and wish you never had it. And the boys at school will tease you saying, "Don't trust anything that bleeds for five days and never dies!"

Enjoy NOT having it. You'll have it for 40 years or more. That about 3,500 days of bleeding over your life. It's just a big bother. Your friends should be jealous of you. But I do understand how you might feel. Don't worry. You'll get it soon, I'm sure.

I cant understand y you woudl want it,hun.
I didnt start mine until i was 14 and i was so glad that i hadnt gotten it earlier. The younger u are when you get it, the more embarrassing it will be in some social situations.
Dont rush it.
theres nothing funa bout it anyway- especially when ur teacher wont let u out of calss to use the ladies room!

How old are you? Girls today mature much earlier than when I was a pre-teen. I got my period at 9, and had to go to a gynocologist because it was so rare. My sister didn't get hers until she was 12! I guess it all depends on your hormones. Don't rush it -- it's actually not any fun at all!
Best wishes!

I guess, since I didn't feel like a grown woman, yet. How old are you? Everybody's different. Some start as early as 7 and as late as 17.
