I know how much I hate having someone answer my question with talk to your doctor, but this issue of excercising when ttc, is something that your doctor can answer best for you! You don't want to do anything too strenuous, but yet being in shape and healthy helps you when ttc because yourbody is at it's peak! Also it helps if you have been excercising along the way and not just jumping into it immediately, which would put stress on your body!
I would say there is a fine line between ok and too much! And that is where I say the doctor will help you! Or if your gym offers personal trainers, they could probably help answer your question. If they went to school to be a trainer, then they had to learn about what was good when, etc.

I wouldn't do weights... just in case. But I was scared of that too... I feel really stupid about it that I didn't go. Jogging and climbing are good for you, when you get pregnant just bring it to a brisk walk.

keeping fit is very good for the body when ttc..daily exercise and healthy eating can only be a bonus to your health and is more likely to cope with getting pregnant..however when you do get pregnant you can still do exercise but nothing strenuous..also if you have been on a diet before you was pregnant it is usually OK to continue,but do not go on a diet bec you are pregnant. check out any diet with a dr 1st is the best thing

When ttc it's best to be as fit and healthy as you possibly can be to give yourself every chance of conceiving so I say yes going to the Gym is fine.

If your body is use to doing weights, climbing, jogging etc before you got pregnant then you can still do all of that. I see no reason why you couldnt if you could do it all while pregnant.

It not right to go to gym if you want to conceive because some people have a very fragile body with any slight exercise .

its a great idea if you are trying to conceive. its best to be in tip-top shape for when you actually fall pregnant. and then light excersie. look at nell mcandrew. shes so fit and she didnt stop for her whole pregnancy!

its fine for the first couple of months but when u get heavier then do lighter exercise such as swimming!

no it's not! If you are trying to conceive, you should do it in the privacy of your own home.

It's very off putting for us serious weight trainers to have to watch the like of you banging away on the crash mats.
