It looks like a long braided ponytail. It's brown, and has a criss-cross pattern. Why so?

uh oh..its looks like you have intestinal gnomes. Thats a for sure way to tell! they get in there and get bored and they will on a occasion "braid your dookie" My suggestion is to go take a lot of laxitives and crap them out in your yard. Thats where garden gnomes come from.
