John, the United States has not run a legitimate democratic process. Outside imperialist powers cannot be definition initiate a democratic process. That is why MOST Iraqis - not a minority - refuse to recognize and support the puppet regime.

As needless and inept as this war has been, any un-biased view would put the "freedom fighters" in a small minority of the country that could never gain power or support throuhg a legitmate electoral process. The overwhelming majority of the violence and brutality is performed by an Iraqi minority against the Iraqi majority.
