I kind of have irregular cycles.. usually 27-30 days long. Would the 2 days AFTER my period be the "safest" without a condom? I know that none are actually safe but just by comparison. Thanks!

Slighly safer, but it really is not good to take chances!

Not at all!! You ovulate 1 week after your period ends, and sperm that reaches the uterus can live up to 1 week! BAD NEWS! If you are in a monogamous relationship and you don't want to use condoms, why don't you get on some birth control? Planned Parenthood has women's health programs where all your exams/bc are free...

considering most women ovulate about 14 days after the onset of their period I'd say you're safe from pregnancy. However, unless you're in a monogamous(and absolutely positive it is!!) relationship, having sex without a condom is never safe.

everybody has thier own cycle. there is no way for US to tell you what is safe or not. Only your doctor can tell you that type of stuff.. Safe or not, you should always be wearing a condom! Been there done that, learn from other peoples mistakes! DONT take those kinds of chances, THEY WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE FOREVER!

if you have irregular periods don't chance it at all. if you are both disease free and you really want to have sex sans condom then talk to your doc about starting on a hormonal contraceptive. sex without protection ANY time of the month is just asking for trouble.

Why not get on birth control pills so you don't have to worry about it? You're most likely to get pregnant at the 14th day from the first day of your period, but every woman is different. Make an appointment today.

Why don't you want to use a condom? Are you ready to have children? Don't take a risk when you have options.

The "safest" time is a week after your period, and it's not "safe" to do it a week before you period.

No. There is no such thing as a "safe" day. You can get pregnant ANY day.
